" I am thankful that you have designed a toilet functions so nice. It reminds me exactly of how I experienced these toilets in the East while traveling for Ziarats and Ashara. Because it was a new item in the house, My eldest son Taher, only 6 years old voluntarily asked us how to use it because of the initial novelty. Now he comes to our room and uses it regularly on his own, without being asked. Most importantly, it was very important to us from the beginning to teach this aspect of our culture to our children.

We wanted to make this change from Western to an Eastern toilet system in our home for sometime but this task looked to be very daunting and difficult to change for a number of reasons.

The East West is a simple design, but very practical and fully functional. Because of the method of construction and modularity, being a handy man, I plan to expand it into a more permanent fixture, that will look permanent but at the same time it will be totally portable if I ever decide to move.

" We have been using the East West toilets since 2005. Currently we have two units at our house and both are functioning well. There have been no leaks or other sanitary issues.

During our son’s wedding we also had the Sharaf of having Shehzada Aali Waqar Syedi Idris Bhai Saheb Badruddin Saheb and Bhensaheba stay with us as our guests for 10 days. The Qasreali Sahebs were very pleased with the East West as well. In addition we had no problems with installation. It fit into the existing plumbing very nicely and nothing needed to be broken or changed.

Being in America for a great portion of our lives and using the Western toilet, our transition back to the Eastern toilet was primarily a psychological challenge. We tried to place this psychological challenge onto the fact that no good eastern toilets were readily available. With Aqa Moula (TUS)’s Raza Mubarak, East West has not only helped us but also other North American Momineen overcome this mindset.
